The New Hope Village Foundation

Impact, stewardship, and stability are the core mission of the New Hope Village Foundation. The Foundation coordinates the generous gifts of our donors, managing six funds to help donors impact specific projects that align with their philanthropic goals. For more than 50 years, donors have supported New Hope through gifts, grants, special events, and as volunteers.

Our Funds

Impact

• Client Special Needs Fund: This fund provides for the “extras” that make a house a home. Gifts directly impact the lives of our clients by funding personal items, specialized equipment, and life-enriching activities not covered by traditional funding.
• General-Annual Fund: These contributions provide essential, flexible support for New Hope’s yearly operations. By giving to the General Fund, you allow us to direct resources where they are most urgently needed to support our community.

Stability

• Endowment Fund: Established to ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission, the Endowment provides a reliable foundation of support that will allow New Hope to serve individuals for the next 50 years and beyond.
• Frank H. Hermsen Staff Development Fund: Established to honor the legacy of longtime Executive Director Frank H. Hermsen, this fund fosters stability by providing scholarships and educational opportunities for our staff, encouraging professional growth and excellence in care.

Stewardship

• Staff Support Fund: We view our caregivers as our most valuable resource. This fund is used to recognize their dedication and provide support, ensuring we remain good stewards of the talent and heart that drive New Hope forward.
• Building & Equipment Fund: We believe in being good stewards of our environment. This fund is dedicated to the upkeep of our facilities and the purchase of necessary equipment, ensuring our physical spaces remain safe and welcoming.

Ways to Give

• Recurring Gifts: Regular support to the fund of your choice helps New Hope meet its ongoing financial needs.
• Annual Donations: Gifts to our appeals, special events, or as part of your annual philanthropic planning can be directed toward specific projects or funds.
