Families Update from the Leadership Council

New Hope Families,

As we have shared previously, some weeks we make big strides and some weeks we just plug along, continuing to work toward the same core values and mission. While we do not have any major announcements this week, we do want to provide a few brief updates.

• Budget (Mission). Management is continuing to work on firming up the FY24 budget to present to the New Hope Board of Directors at the September board meeting. New Hope’s fiscal year begins October 1 and runs through September 30. As with any organization the size of New Hope, there is much to consider, and the Council is making sure all aspects of the budget have been thoroughly reviewed to help ensure a successful year ahead.
• Color Round (Services). On Saturday, New Hope hosted it’s 3^rd Annual Color Round event! This is such a great occasion for those we serve, and our employees seem to enjoy it as well. Thank you to our volunteers this year, who assisted with the ice cream booth, escorting individuals through the course, and helping with clean-up. Also, a big thank you to Outlaw Graphics and Culvers for donating the event t-shirts for our individuals to wear, as well as the delicious custard for everyone to enjoy afterwards.
• Family Association Meeting (Foundation). Our New Hope Foundation is working with the Family Association to host a fall meeting this Saturday, September 16. This event is an opportunity for families to learn more about current activities at New Hope, meet the Leadership Council, and talk together as a Family Association.
