Helping People Achieve Successful Independent Living at Home

Home Support & Services

Home Support and Services provides support to adults with varying abilities and needs. Our goal is to support individuals living in their own homes or in their family home, placing a strong emphasis on skill building and community involvement. These services are provided for individuals who are independent in many ways, but occasionally need a hand here and there.

Home Support and Services may include:

  • Budgeting, paying bills and gaining financial skills
  • Guidance in maintaining a home
  • Personal appearance and hygiene
  • Independently taking medication
  • Shopping
  • Participating in the local community
  • Accessing transportation and options for greater mobility

New Hope works closely with individuals, their families and support networks to develop a customized support plan based on a person’s skills, interests and dreams. We review and revise the support plan as new skills are gained and interests or dreams change.
