Church Route Drivers

Church Route Driver - part-time working every other weekend.   Saturday hours are 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday hours are 8 a.m. - noon.   Must be willing to obtain a CDL, class C with a passenger endorsement, comply with the FTA drug and Alcohol policy, have a good driving record to be insurable through NH and Region 12.  Would be accompanying clients to church services ensuring appropriate behavior and providing assistance as needed.   $13.82/hour

 

Substitute Route Driver.   Must be willing to obtain a CDL, class C with a passenger endorsement, comply with the FTA drug and alcohol policy, have a good driving record and insurable through NH and Region 12.  Would be transporting clients to different work areas in the community, taking nurses to Dr. appointments, dental appointments.

 

 

Client Support Staff

 

Client Support Staff (CSS) provide assistance to adults with disabilities in either a campus or community-based setting. CSS provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, community outings, leisure activities, meals, laundry, and cleaning. CSS are also responsible for data collection and documentation. In addition, CSS in our community homes administer medications. No prior experience is required; we provide paid classroom instruction and on the job training with an assigned mentor to help assure a successful career with New Hope.

Scheduling Options:

New Hope offers many scheduling options to help meet the needs of persons served and employees. In our community homes we offer longer shifts but fewer days which work well for commuters. Our community homes are located in Carroll, Glidden, and Manning. Our campus homes are located in Carroll and offer more traditional shifts for those looking for a more traditional schedule.

Summary of Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic calculations
  • Campus home staff must be 16 years of age or older
  • Community home staff must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and be insurable under our agency's auto insurance, and also the ability to successfully complete the Medication Manager course after hire

Health Services Coordinator - RN

Leadership position providing supervision and direction for Health Service Assistants and Certified Med Aides.   Will be responsible for ensuring these positions possess the appropriate skills and knowledge within the scope of their responsibilities, monitoring, testing and periodically evaluating for competency.  Coordinate the scheduling of health care appointments and ensure the most efficient utilization of staff resources within the department, including scheduling of nurses, HSA's and CMA's for the ICF/ID program and the limited support provided to the SCL program.  Will also be back-up for passing medications on campus and other nursing duty coverage.  

Must be an RN and maintain RN license.  One year of experience in an ID/DD or health care setting, and/or previous experience in human resource management is required.  Must be able to maintain flexibility for 7 day week, 24 hour day residential program. 

Day Shift Position!

 

Must have a valid driver's license and able to obtain D3 chauffeur license, have a great driving record and be insurable under New Hope's auto insurance.

Responsible for assuring custodial needs are being met in the campus homes through general cleaning responsibilities.  This person will receive basic knowledge in the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies and must have the ability to lift light equipment and materials.  This position is 40 hours per week Monday - Friday on the day shift.

Responsible for assisting the community employment program in evaluating and developing opportunities for employment for clients we serve by contacting employers to develop community job sites for individual placements using a variety of placement techniques.  Ensure that employers and job sites comply with safety and ethical standards and provide appropriate supports and opportunities for training.  Must possess the ability to communicate and work effectively with clients, support staff, contractors and customers by understanding needs, evaluating alternatives and providing advice.  Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience, preferably in human services, sociology, psychology, education, human resources, marketing, sales or business.  Must hold or be willing to earn a nationally recognized certification as an employment specialist:  CESP-Certified Employment Support Professional.  Must have good computer skills and have a satisfactory driving record and be insurable under New Hope's insurance.

Assist individuals with disabilities with medical appointments, preventative health monitoring and administering medications.  

Must have or be able to obtain a chauffeur's license.
